چکیده
In this communication, we use a compact split step Padé scheme (CSSPS) to solve the scalar higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation (HNLS) with higher-order linear and nonlinear effects. The second part, consisting of two sections, the first section is dedicated to the study numerically the stabilization of high-order solitons dynamic in optical fibers by compensation or by the interplay of higher order nonlinearity especially quintic nonlinearityand the self-steepening. In the second section we study also numerically the propagation of conventional chirped or unchirped solitons in optical fibers with to the management of the nonlinearity, dispersion and loss (gain).

Dynamic Fracture Analysis Using an Uncoupled Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian Finite Element Formulation
This paper deals with the implementation of an efficient Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) formulation for the three dimensional finite element modeling of mode I self-similar dynamic fracture process. Contrary to the remeshing technique, the presented algorithm can continuously advance the crack with the one mesh topology. The uncoupled approach is employed to treat the equations. So, each t...
متن کاملQuantum theory of femtosecond solitons in optical fibres
We use the time-dependent Hartree approximation to obtain the solution IO the quantum higher-order non-linear Schrodinger equation. This equation describes femtosecond pulses propagating in non-linear optical fibres and can have soliton solutions. These solitons travel at velocities that differ from the picosecond solitons obtained from the standard quantum non-linear Schrodinger equation. We f...
متن کاملMultipole solitary wave solutions of the higher-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation with quintic non-Kerr terms
We consider a high-order nonlinear Schrödinger (HNLS) equation with thirdand fourth-order dispersions, quintic non-Kerr terms, self steepening, and self-frequency-shift effects. The model applies to the description of ultrashort optical pulse propagation in highly nonlinear media. We propose a complex envelope function ansatz composed of single bright, single dark and the product of bright and ...
متن کاملThree-Phase Modeling of Dynamic Kill in Gas-Condensate Well Using Advection Upstream Splitting Method Hybrid Scheme
Understanding and modeling of three-phase transient flow in gas-condensate wells play a vital role in designing and optimizing dynamic kill procedure of each well that needs to capture the discontinuities in density, geometry, and velocity of phases but also the effect of temperature on such parameters. In this study, two-phase Advection-Upstream-Splitting-Method (AUSMV) hybrid scheme is extend...
